More about Mom

Just to let everyone know that when Ralph went to see Mom this morning, she was bathed and dressed, and working on her word puzzles. Her demeanor was calm and pleasant. She asked Ralph when the lady was coming back. Ralph told her that Petra will be back tomorrow (she had a previous appt today), and she asked what would she be doing. Ralph explained that she will be taking care of her and the house. She said "OK." Ralph asked Mom to trust that all of us are doing what is best for her. Her response was "I do trust all of you." Ralph was stunned at the drastic change he saw in her! Who knows how she will be tomorrow when Petra comes at the door - but have no fear, Ralph will be there! He intends to go for as long as it takes for her to get used to the idea that Petra will be there each morning. As for me, I'm back in school now so I'm basically not available except in the evenings and weekends. Let's once again hope and pray that she continues to have this frame of mind...
