...Just thought I'd do another UPDATE since there hasn't been one for awhile...
And what better "subject" than our dear Mom (who has improved since her last medicine change...) As you can see by the image files this is an definite "upgrade" (and a fair deal; hope it works out okay?).
If you'd like to talk to Mom and wish her well...please do so... Just two things you must keep in mind while talking to Mom: keep your conversation moderately short, if possible....and the other is try to keep the subjects you talk about positive...(this will help her since she does have negative feelings about her new "home" ...etc.) and not to dwell on the moving topic very much...(most of these are common sense) Maybe later she will be a little more comfortable and topics can be more openly discussed...

....What Does Dad Want Us To Do...

....I really don't have lots to say here; except maybe that we might celebrate Dad's "new life"....

that he has now and that he would want us to heal as soon as we're able too and to move forward (for some of us it won't be easyI know...) Some of us have started the healing already (maybe "they" were more prepared than others?)... At any rate all I can do is try to move forward; as I feel Dad would want me to do... And for the others in the family that need more time then all we can do is help each other best we can (to each one of us this would be individually accomplished

in his/her own way...of course.)... The Good Lord has blessed all of us in His own way as we are all uniquely special to have "our family" as is today... Let's cherish that thought, gift, feeling and nourish it best we can as a family "together"....!

So much for just a few words...right? I think most of you get my meaning, I would hope...

I leave you with these few words: pray for peace & unity of "our family" and Peace at heart for all of us...

Space Lab

This evening, on an email tip from David Ruthstrom, Debbie and I watched the International Space Lab pass overhead, from horizon to horizon, brighter than Venus, which it passed right by. It took less than ten minutes to orbit out of the western sky and track east, right over El Paso, about 45 degrees above the horizon. I was watching from our back yard and Debbie from the roof of the hospital, since she's working tonight. It was cool.

It was -2 degrees Farenheit this morning on the way to work,folks, and I'm not talking windchill. With a predicted high of 14, it's really cold! Our house is heated with oil, a good thing as there is a problem between Russia and the Ukraine so gaslines have been shut off, resulting in shortages. There's snow on the ground again from the other day, and we still have dirty piles of snow in the shady spots from November. Looking forward to our visit to El Paso, for more than one reason.
