Pat, Debbie, Ralph and I got together to celebrate Phil's birthday on the evening before he returned to Florida. Debbie, Pat and Phil had gone to see the movie, "Australia" and afterwards they met Ralph and I at the Mexican Elder (Forti's) for dinner. Phil had also celebrated his b-day with Mom earlier in the day (he bought a cake at Baskin and Robbins!). It was good to see Phil and he was pleased that he came and got to spend time with Dad - especially since he didn't know how he would find Dad when he bought his ticket.
That's good to hear, Babette. Mom told me how embarrassed she was that she'd forgotten the birthday, but she sounded good on the phone. Yumm-Mexican Elder..been a long time. I remember meeting the two of you there back in '02, getting in that car accident trying to find it coming into town from Corpus. My poor Passat has a new scrape from Wednesday's 12+ hour snowstorm. Slid and hit a - curb? Emily couldn't wait to tell everyone of her "near-death" experience. I have never seen so much snow in my life. Yesterday's rain has washed it away. Tomorrow, the Trier Christmas Market w/Anne, Jocelyn, & the 3 of us.
